The Bountiful Davis Art Center's Statewide Annual is a competitive exhibition celebrating the diverse artistic talents within Utah. This event serves as a vital platform for early and later career artists, providing significant exposure and opportunities for professional growth within the vibrant Utah arts community.
This exhibition showcases a wide array of artistic disciplines, from traditional paintings and sculptures to innovative installations and new media works. Each year the BDAC selects a guest juror to curate the exhibition and award the three strongest pieces. Joseph Ostraff is our 2024 juror and unrestricted cash awards will be given.
Before submitting artwork, each s artist is required to set-up a profile with ArtCall.org. Click on the Register and Apply button to create your account and submit your artwork. You are able to attach up to three (3) images of each artwork. The first image you attach will be the primary image the judges see. Please create a separate submission application for each artwork. The preliminary round is ONLINE ONLY. Artists accepted into the exhibition will be notified by May 3, 2024. Accepted artists will be asked to bring their work in person to the BDAC. The juror will then select award winners from the accepted pieces.
HOW TO APPLY

You are able to attach up to three (3) images of each artwork. The first image you attach will be the primary image the judge sees. Please create a separate submission application for additional artwork. With the $20 registration fee, each artist may submit up to three (3) pieces.
Applications must include the following:
Artist Statement: 350 - 500 words
Artist Bio: 100-200 words
High Resolution Images: 1-3 high resolution images of your piece (1500 px on the longest side, 10MB max per image)
Entry registration fee: $20 (All fees are non-refundable.)
Works must be original, completed within the past two years and never before exhibited at the BDAC. All selected entries must be dropped off dry, suitably framed, and ready for hanging/installation. (2-D works must have D-rings and wire.) Works that do not fit these criteria may not be accepted. Please label all artwork with the artist’s name and title. Art in any media is welcome: painting, photography, sculpture, installation, printmaking, new media work, etc.

Accepted artists are notified: May 3, 2024 (via email)
